Wilmslow: Cheshire's Footballer Belt and Alan Turing's Final Home
Wilmslow sits at the northern edge of the Cheshire Plain, roughly ten miles south of Manchester city centre. The town is known for wealth. Lindow Man, the Iron Age bog body discovered in Lindow Moss in 1984, was found within the Wilmslow parish boundary; the body is now in the British Museum.
